Due to COVID-19 we are now running from Dampier WA for a yet to be determined time frame! Long hires will be considered in towns from Kalbarri to Dampier, just call and discuss with us. Murchison Boat Hire has been operating in Kalbarri for the past 18 years, supplying quality boats for hire to the general public, fishermen, whale watchers and commercial work. We are a family owned fishing boat hire business located in the beautiful north in Western Australia, where some of the best fishing for bottom and game fish is available along Western Australia's coral coast. With the unexpected events of COVID-19 in 2020, we have moved our 3 boats up to Dampier for hire. We will endeavour to move the boats between Kalbarri and Dampier depending on the current weather/fishing seasons. We are currently dropping down to Coral Bay, Onslow or Exmouth turnoffs if long enough hires depending on availability. ($1.50 per km rate) Call to discuss your requirements.Please note - We do not offer charters.
About Us
Our boats are self drive hire boats - it is a requirement that someone with a WA Skipper's ticket or equivalent is on the boat at all times.

Our smallest boat in the fleet, the 5.3m boat is licensed for 5 persons to 3nm offshore, is easily launched and ideal for a small crew. Powered by a 100hp, very economical 4-stroke Yamaha and complete with all the required safety gear as well as a Lowrance HDS5 with lots of waypoints plotted. Also includes a Koden Colour sounder.

We are now located in Dampier, WA, where some of the best bottom and game fishing is available along the West Australian coast. Our trailerised fishing, diving & whale watching craft come in 2 sizes, all powered by 4-stroke Yamaha motors, and supplied with all the required safety gear, are available for hire in Dampier, or you may tow away to “your secret location” anywhere along the West Australian coastline.
